Direct Spot Temperature Measurement
To aid the fire fighter to find the hottest parts of the scene, the Argus4 has Direct Temperature Measurement (DTM)
The DTM can be used to check the temperatures of doors before entering, help in the selection of the hottest cylinders so removal can take place and determine the spread of a fire inside the building.
For accuracy, the Argus4 provides the user with “box” style aiming marks. When this box has been filled the scene temperature will displayed in the bottom right hand corner. See image. This temperature can be display in either degrees centigrade or Fahrenheit, selectable by the use of the customer software or the remote control.
