- Nickel-metal hydride rechargeable batteries.
- A fully charged new battery gives up to 4 hours of camera use at +22ºC.
The charger is to be used with the Argus4 Charging Shoe (P7030CS) and is mains powered. The charger
is a fully automatic “smart charger”, monitoring
voltage, time and temperature and ensures optimum charge for the battery.
Additionally:
- The charger has a built-in start timer that eliminates early termination of charging when a battery is first connected to it. This prevents batteries that have not been used for some time, or are completely discharged, from showing a fully charged status incorrectly.
- If the battery temperature is too low, the charger will start with a trickle charge until the correct operating temperature has been reached.
- If the battery temperature is too high, the charger will reduce the charge rate until the normal operating temperature has been reached.
