The Argus SC is the latest generation of the highly successful Argus thermal Imaging camera, it has been specifically designed to help police, security and law enforcement officers to detect the heat signatures of people and objects. The Argus SC can be used in conditions of zero visibility including complete darkness, and smoke. Because the energy being sensed is heat rather than light, the camera can be used in both day and night operations. Due to inherent levels of infrared heat energy, people are easily visible to the Argus SC 24 hours a day, and because Argus SC is very sensitive, detecting temperature variations lower than 0.05oC, it is ideal for a series of security applications.
