Battery charger (with mains plug US, UK and Europe)
The rechargeable battery system has been specifically designed to fast-charge the Argus4 Ni-MH rechargeable batteries (P7030R).
The charger is to be used with the Argus4 Charging Shoe (P7030CS) and is mains powered. The charger is a fully automatic “smart charger”, monitoring voltage, time and temperature and ensures optimum charge for the battery.
Additionally:
The charger has a built-in start timer that eliminates early termination of charging when a battery is first connected to it. This prevents batteries that have not been used for some time, or are completely discharged, from showing a fully charged status incorrectly.
If the battery temperature is too low, the charger will start with a trickle charge until the correct operating temperature has been reached.
If the battery temperature is too high, the charger will reduce the charge rate until the normal operating temperature has been reached.
